Hilintec introduces the S30 Miniature Vacuum Liquid Pump Series

With corrosion resistance, high flow rate, high pressure, low cost, and long life, covering the core needs of complex fluid paths.

In applications such as chemical liquid transfer, medical equipment, cleaning and disinfection, and inkjet printing, miniature liquid pumps often need to face multiple challenges simultaneously: they must meet flow rate and back pressure requirements while balancing corrosive media, control methods, service life, and overall machine cost. Hilin Technology introduces the S30 Miniature Vacuum Liquid Pump Series. Based on a platform-based design, this series focuses on five core requirements: corrosion resistance, high flow rate, high pressure, low cost, and long life. It offers liquid-gas dual-use capability, multiple material combinations, brushless and brushed motor options, and interface solutions adapted to different tubing conditions, providing equipment manufacturers with a more complete and more flexible fluid path selection path.

Achieving Balanced Coverage Across Five Key Capabilities

The S30 is not a product strengthened for only a single parameter. Its design focus is to allow flow rate, pressure, corrosion resistance, reliability, and cost to work together in a coordinated manner within the same platform.

In terms of high flow rate, the S30LR brushless version can achieve a no-load pure water flow rate of up to 800 mL/min, while the brushed version can reach 750 mL/min, making it suitable for liquid transfer, circulation, cleaning, and spraying applications requiring relatively high flow rates. For equipment that needs relatively high liquid handling efficiency without adding a multi-pump parallel structure, the S30 can reduce the complexity of fluid path configuration.

In terms of high pressure, the S30LR brushless version has a maximum safe output pressure of 250 kPa, while the brushed version has 200 kPa. This pressure capability can cover working conditions such as spraying, atomization, cleaning, and liquid transfer with back pressure. In applications exceeding 200 kPa, the product can be equipped with K6 stainless steel quick-connect fittings to improve the stability and sealing reliability of tubing connections.

In terms of corrosion resistance, the S30 offers three material combinations: ES, KS, and KV. The standard ES configuration uses EPDM wetted elastomers and a PPS pump head; the KS configuration uses a PTFE diaphragm, FFKM valves and seals, while retaining the PPS pump head; the KV configuration further uses a PVDF pump head, targeting more complex chemical media conditions. Users can complete graded selection based on medium concentration, temperature, pressure, contact time, and cost requirements, without having to directly choose a high-cost configuration solely for corrosion resistance needs.

In terms of low cost, the S30 offers both a DC brushed simplified version and a BL brushless standard version. The brushed version is suitable for batch equipment that is cost-sensitive and has relatively simple control requirements; the brushless version is suitable for automated equipment requiring PWM speed control, start-stop control, speed feedback, and protection functions. The two motor options share the same platform, allowing manufacturers to choose a more suitable cost structure according to product positioning while maintaining the main fluid path performance.

In terms of long life, the design target for the S30 brushless version is 6,000 hours at full load and 10,000 hours for no-load liquid pumping; the corresponding design targets for the brushed version are 3,000 hours and 5,000 hours. For equipment requiring long-term continuous operation or frequent start-stop cycles, the brushless version can provide more room for system reliability design through stall protection, overcurrent protection, and control interfaces. The above life data are design targets, and actual life still needs to be evaluated in combination with media, pressure, duty cycle, ambient temperature, and installation conditions.

Resonant Diaphragm Makes High-Flow Output More Stable

The S30 adopts a dual-diaphragm pump head with a PTFE resonant diaphragm. The resonant diaphragm forms a dynamic buffer on the suction side, helping to reduce negative pressure fluctuations, reduce the risk of bubble precipitation and cavitation in the liquid, and improve the stability of liquid output. For equipment that is sensitive to flow stability, fluid path impact, and bubble control, this structure has practical significance.

For example, in scenarios such as reagent delivery, cleaning liquid transfer, inkjet liquid supply, atomization, and chemical reaction liquid circulation, smoother fluid transfer helps improve the consistency of overall machine operation. At the same time, the S30 can be used as a liquid pump, vacuum pump, or gas-liquid mixed media transfer pump. Its liquid-gas dual-use characteristic allows one platform to serve more equipment structures and application needs.

Providing More Complete Configuration Options for Complex Fluid Paths

The S30 comes standard with an H4 barb fitting and can optionally be equipped with a K6 quick-connect fitting and an I8 female threaded fitting to adapt to different installation methods such as flexible tubing, rigid tubing, and threaded adapters. The pump body supports upright or side mounting, providing more flexibility for internal equipment layout. The brushless version supports PWM speed control, FG speed feedback, and BRAKE start-stop control, and can be connected to an MCU, PLC, or host computer; the brushed version can adjust speed and flow rate by adjusting the input voltage. For equipment that needs to integrate the pump into an automated control system, the S30 can accommodate both fluid transfer and control integration needs.

Compared with Competitors, the S30’s Advantage Lies in Comprehensive Overall Capability

Compared with some German products in the same flow rate class, the S30’s advantage is not only reflected in a single flow rate parameter, but in integrating 750–800 mL/min class flow rate, 200–250 kPa class safe output pressure, resonant diaphragm structure, multi-material system, and localized configuration capability into the same product platform. For equipment manufacturers hoping to achieve a balance among performance, delivery response, and overall cost, the S30 provides a more flexible choice.

Compared with some domestic products, the S30’s difference lies in its more complete material configuration path and system capability. In addition to the standard EPDM configuration, the product can further cover material combinations such as PTFE, FFKM, and PVDF; in addition to basic liquid transfer, it can also provide interface configurations for high-pressure tubing, brushless control and feedback functions, and liquid-gas dual-use capability. Users can choose configurations according to actual working conditions, rather than making excessive compromises among flow rate, corrosion resistance, pressure, and cost.

Serving Multiple Types of Equipment and Application Scenarios

The S30 can be applied in fields such as chemical reaction liquid feeding and circulation, reagent delivery and waste liquid treatment in medical and in vitro diagnostic equipment, cleaning and disinfection equipment, spraying and atomization equipment, and inkjet printing and coding/plotting equipment. For corrosive, flammable, toxic, or other hazardous media, users should still complete a wetted material compatibility assessment before use, and confirm tubing sealing, pressure rating, and safety protection solutions according to actual working conditions. The value of the S30 is not in covering all needs with a single specification, but in providing a versatile miniature pump platform that balances performance, cost, and reliability for complex fluid path systems through a more complete combination of performance and configurations.
